We are a small 13 standard tree orchard in St. Albans, Maine. The orchard was planted by my husband’s grandfather as his retirement project over 40 years ago and only recently started producing more than our family and friends can consume, hence Melanson’s Orchard was born. When we took over the orchard 5 years ago we started actively pruning and subsequently harvesting more and more apples every year.   We are not certified ‘organic’, but we practice a no-spray approach.
