DEPOSIT on Family Pig Share

Read the fine print on this one. This purchase acts a deposit on a family pig CSA share. CSA’s are not fully reserved until a deposit has been paid and you’ve filled out your contact and order info on the following google form.

Please take care to read the instructions there and fill out your information accurately. CSA’s are available in half hog or whole hog options (as cuts or roasters). We have butcher dates for April 2023, November 2023 and December 2023. Purchasing in bulk is a great way to fill your freezer and reduce trips to the grocery store.

CSAs are limited and pickup dates may need to be adjusted to accommodate orders. CSA’s are not reserved until your deposit has been paid. A deposit of 50% is due 2 months before the processing date. The final weight of pork received is dependent on the cuts chosen and the weight of the hogs going to processing. You will receive professionally vacuum sealed frozen cuts in their share. Specialty items can be requested for an additional cost. Smoking services and specialty sausages costs extra. Fees will be $90 per head and $6.25/lb based on hanging weight. Shares can not be shipped and must be picked up in person at Peggy Rockefeller Farm in Bar Harbor Maine.
