Their eggs average 6.5 ounces each these days. They usually lay one egg every other day, for three to four months beginning in mid-late March.

Our Brown Chinese geese, Kukla and Fran managed by their Consort Mr.Ollie, will lay upwards of 45 eggs each this spring and thats more than most geese. Year-round they are the guaradians of all things farm 24/7.
Being vegetarians, unlike ducks and chickens, they graze pasture and garden all day, nibbling Organic grains laced with beneficial herbs and flowers for dessert.
Legend has it that in 390 BCE Romans used flocks of geese to guard the many temples about the city when fierce Gauls attempted a raid. BOOM! The ever-vigilant geese honked out APBs, and saved the day!
Each Goose egg is 3x larger than the average chicken egg, and twice as wonderful as a duck egg.
