Egyptian Walking Onion Bulbils

Roughly 12 – 15 bulbil clusters per carton.  Eat them or plant them!  This is a perfect onion for permaculture gardens, or anyone looking for a low maintenance food crop. The plants produce bulbs at both the top and bottom of the plant, you can harvest and eat nearly all parts of the plant: bottom bulbs, stalks, leaves, mini bulbs (called bulbils) produced at the top of stalk, the younger, more tender stalklets that emerge from the bulbils, and even the tiny white flowers. As the plant matures, the weight of the top bulbils eventually cause the stalks to flop over allowing the bulbils take root a few feet away.  Thus these onions ‘walk’ across the garden (if you choose to let them).
