Gorgeous, edible, medicinal blooms. Organically grown and lovingly hand-harvested on our farm for peak potency, color and flavor.
What do I do with Calendula flowers? Calendula officinalis is a beautiful, edible, medicinal plant with bright orange, yellow and burgundy flowers. When taken internally, it aids in heartburn and digestive relief as an anti-inflammatory, and stimulates the lymphatic system. It is also delicious as a tea, and is said to help beat the wintertime blues. We love scattering the bright petals in salads and quiches. Used externally, it is a powerful antiseptic and healer of all manner of skin tenderness: scrapes, burns, eczema, and bug bites. Add to baby’s bath to soothe diaper rash and cradle cap.
Store in a cool, dark place to maintain color and flavor.
