Rainbow Farm’s nitrate free smoked jowl bacon comes from the cheek of the pig. It is fattier than typically pork belly bacon. It is excellent in Italian dishes like pasta carbonara.
Rainbow Farm’s pigs are raised on the place in our farm where they are happiest, the woods. The pigs transforming the woods at Rainbow Farm into a pig paradise, with trees for shade and a thick under story of pasture. During the spring to fall, the pigs are moved often to ensure they have access to vegetation.
