Rainbow Farm’s pigs are raised on the place in our farm where they are happiest, the woods. The pigs transforming the woods at Rainbow Farm into a pig paradise, with trees for shade and a thick under story of pasture. During the spring to fall, the pigs are moved often to ensure they have access to vegetation. Rainbow Farm raises heritage breed pigs. The pigs are a cross of Berkshire, Tamworth, and Large Black. All the piglets are born on the farm. Rainbow Farm’s pigs are fed non-GMO grain, and sometimes discarded non-GMO, free range eggs from the layers as a tasty treat.
