This fresh ham steak is cut 1/2″ thick and measures approximately 8″ by 10.” Weights vary from 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 pounds. The steak has not been cured or smoked and will taste like pork. This is a nice cut for a quick dinner (just fry up like a regular smoked ham steak) or put your smoker and/or curing techniques to good use and cure it yourself.
We raised our pigs on grain sourced from Canada so we could ensure that it was GMO-free. In addition, our hogs also had at their disposal a wide variety of fresh veggies from our multiple gardens.
Our pork is all natural. No hormones, no growth-enhancers, and no GMOs. Meat is state-inspected, and comes vacuum-wrapped and frozen.
