Garlic Grass, 4″ pot
$5.00
A four inch pot of garlic grass growing in compost-based potting soil. Snip the grass for use in omelets, stir fries, or salads. Before using them be sure to taste one first, because they are not LIKE garlic—they ARE garlic.
Each pot has the bulbils from one Georgian Fire bulbil cluster (see second photo), or about fifty bulbils, each bulbil putting up one or more sprouts of garlic grass. May be cut and re-grown several times. Photo shows garlic grass just after sprouting; it will grow to 6-8″ tall within two weeks. Give as much sun as possible; does not mind being grown in frosty temperatures, although this will slow its growth somewhat.
