A sweet & delectable sauce and salad dressing

  • use as a glaze on ham, pork, or duck
  • an exciting salad dressing on local greens or roasted vegetables
  • perfect addition to cheese, crackers, and a glass of white wine

Chef Lerman’s Grape + Pumpkin Cream Sauce for Chicken or Pork

  • ¼ c white wine or stock
  • 1 medium tart apple, peeled, cored & sliced
  • 1/8 c flour for apple dredge
  • ½ c Grape + Pumpkin | Sauce & Salad Dressing
  • 3 T butter or olive oil
  • ¼ c cream or half & half

Directions:

  • Melt butter and saute dredged apple slices on medium heat until just golden brown.
  • Remove apples from pan.
  • While pan is still hot, add wine, Grape/Pumpkin dressing and cream to pan, cooking on low for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Return apple slices to pan.
  • Serve sauce over sauteed chicken breast or pork loin cutlets.

Ingredients: sugar, canola oil, solid packed pumpkin, water, grape pulp, grape juice, distilled vinegar, white wine, cinnamon, cloves, xanthan gum, allspice, nutmeg, salt
