Helda is a Romano green bean. They are a little different than the round types you might be more familiar with, these are flat, wide and long. They have a distinctive green bean flavor and meaty texture. Excellent steamed or sauteed with other summer vegetables. Romanos cook a bit faster than the round type of green beans. Sold by the quart, about 1 lb.
