These bone in leg steaks are thick cuts (1.5 inches thick) of delicious leg meat. Best if seared or grilled to medium Rare, these hearty steaks are similar to cooking a rib eye steak. Packed with juicy flavor, you’ll surely enjoy these steaks.
This selection will be on the smaller side of the available steaks- weighing in between 1.15- and 1.4 lbs each and come frozen and vaccume sealed.
Lamb Life: The lambs (Dusty, Freckles, Einhorn & Elvis) came to us in early June and spent the season happily roaming, foraging and recieving scratches from farm visitors. They had free range of a 7 acre pasture and a varied diet including clover, grass and dandilions (a favorite lamb snack) as well as supplemented organic grain from Green Mountain Feeds in Bethel, VT.
They were sweet tempered and well loved by all who visited the farm this year.
They are sorely missed.
