One Student Lunch

All donations go directly to George Stevens Academy to pay for student lunches. Lunches are prepared by Chef Lu who also runs the culinary program at GSA.
Dorothy “Dottie” B. Hayes made a major gift to GSA in 2018 establishing the Food for Thought fund, which helps pay for school lunches, as an expression of her lifelong love of the Blue Hill Peninsula and strong commitment to education. Her experience in schools informed her belief, that a hungry student cannot be a focused learner.
