Peppermint plant in a one pint pot. Aroma is reminiscent of candy canes. Make a tea of the leaves and use straight or cut half-and-half with cider for an intriguing drink.
Plant in a larger permanent pot or create a mint patch in your perennial garden. If planted in a moist area that it likes it will grow into a patch within a season or two. Overwinters easily, in garden or pot. Best to not plant near other mints, since they will intermingle and their flavors blend.
