Pork is raised in the woods with shelter and the pastures of the fertile soil ridge of North Penobscot. Our pigs have plenty of room to root and revel in woods and fields. Our pigs are fed organic grain and skim milk from our cows and whey from our cheese and yogurt-making. This combination makes for extraordinary flavor and moist meat that’s hard to over cook.
