Turnip, Gilfeather, org, 2lb

These white flesh, rutabaga-like turnips, (meaning sweet and delicious!) are fantastic! An heirloom from my home state of Vermont, they are great roasted or mashed with butter and salt and pepper. Can be mixed with carrots for a more colorful dish. Don’t forget to drink the cooking water if you steam or boil them. Very sweet!
