Hippie Holstein ~ Tallow Soap

Homemade in small batches, this is a SPECIAL EDITION cold process soap, made in Farmhouse fashion, with a twist. Locally grown, pastured Holstein steer tallow is the inspiration for this soap. Predominately fragranced with nag champa, tonka bean, and dark patchouli essential oil, with supporting notes of nutmeg, frankincense and mooo…er, myrrh. Its the perfect “Hippie” scent! Because let’s face it, what’s more hippie than a Holstein? (Seriously, how could you miss the hips on them!?) Colored with activated charcoal and titanium dioxide for that classic Holstein hide look, with each just as uniquely different.

(Although Holstein steer tallow was the inspiration for the first batch of Hippie Holstein, future batches may contain home rendered tallow from other breeds. As always, locally grown.)
